Update 2 of my eeePC package repository

Update 2 of my eeePC package repository 2008-09-07

In a few minutes I will upload the second update to my eeePC package repository. For instructions on how to use the repository, please revisit the announcement.

So what changed?
  • YAG easymode support
    • Added a new package "yag-easymode-support". Install this package, and all (installed) Applications from my repository will appear in the ASUS launcher.
  • Navit
    • Added a new wrapper script, that helps to start/configure gpsd and to download OSM maps and configure navit accordingly.
    • Added a backport of a newer gpsd version from debian sid and made navit depend on it. This fixes some stability issues.
Known issues:
  • Navit: CEGui (the SDL/Opengl GUI) support is broken. As far as I know, this didn't work in the previous package, either.

Sorry but with this update we can use the program only with a cable GPS device and not bluetooth ones. @Added a new wrapper script, that helps to start/configure gpsd
